Serasi Logistics Indonesia (SELOG), a subsidiary of Serasi Autoraya (SERA), is officially halal certified. This proves its commitment to supporting halal product distribution in Indonesia.

As a professional logistics provider, SELOG ensures that all of its product storage and distribution processes comply with Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance (UU JPH), which requires all products distributed and traded in Indonesia to be halal certified.

With this certificate, SELOG guarantees that the food, beverage, medicine, and cosmetics distributed are halal and not contaminated by non-halal products.

The halal certification is applicable to six SELOG locations: Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, and Makassar, and one storage facility in Surabaya.

The certification process began early 2014 with the development of Halal Product Assurance System (SPJH) Manual, operating procedures, and implementation guidelines to ensure that all operating activities are up to halal standards.

Additionally, SELOG formed a Halal Management Team, provided training for its employees, and ensured that its supervisors are certified by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

The President Director of SELOG, Ferdinand Matondang, emphasized that this achievement is a reflection of the company’s commitment to assure service quality and compliance with the prevailing regulations. “With this certification, SELOG can provide a guarantee for its customers and business partners who prioritize halal product distribution,” said Matondang.

SELOG’s halal certificate was issued by Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH), the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, following its completion of the rigorous audit by Halal Inspection Agency (LPH), PT Sucofindo.

The audit process covered document verification, field inspection, and the fatwa-making process by the Indonesia Ulema Council (MUI). A certificate with the number of ID00410021047040924 was presented to SELOG’s President Director in a ceremony held at SELOG’s Headquarter in North Jakarta by a representative of PT Sucofindo.

With this achievement, SELOG strengthens its position in the Indonesian logistics market as a trusted logistics service provider that supports halal distribution in Indonesia.
